second solo cd by antoine vimal (alias moka). david fenech plays inverted gong on a song called sashimi, recorded on a four track cassette recorder at his home. this cd is a wonderful mix of influences, from brian eno to folk music and electronica (to make it short).<\/p>\n

A Grenoble, Moka ne descend que rarement sur terre : Antoine Vimal, on suppose, ne quitte ses plaines lunaires que par n\u00e9cessit\u00e9, une fois l\u2019an, pour acheter le nouveau Labradford, son seul correspondant ici-bas. Ou alors, pour discuter silence avec Smog, avec qui il partage un d\u00e9go\u00fbt du remplissage et un amour des machines pour s\u2019isoler : Bathysphere chez Bill Callahan, Batyscaphe chez Antoine Vimal. Sur le magnifique Bleu comme autrefois sur Humide, son luxuriant orchestre aux instruments rares (didgeridu ou scie) ne peint qu\u2019\u00e0 l\u2019aquarelle : beaucoup d\u2019eau et de suggestions, mais aucune forme s\u00e9v\u00e8rement dessin\u00e9e, m\u00eame quand les beatboxes alunissent, un bonheur pour les r\u00eaveurs.
